I am excited to share the news that through the PGC PlayConnect Reading program, I will be reading from my new play, Suddenly You’re 50 (working title). This reading will be hosted by the Theatre Department at the Vancouver Island University on September 17/2019, in the lobby of the Nanaimo Campus beginning at 7:30 pm.

Thank you to Theatre Program Chair & Professor, Eliza Gardiner, for inviting me. There will be a talk-back after a short reading of this new play, hosted by Leon Potter, VIU Professor.

PGC’s PlayConnect program connects playwrights with communities and new audiences by providing an opportunity for travel funds, promotion and professional development. For more details about this amazing program, follow this link.

Synopsis: Suddenly you turn 50 and you find yourself on an all-inclusive vacation with your aging parents. A story about not writing another play, reversals and a whole lot of mid-life that you didn’t expect.
