Honored to be chosen to Mentor, BC Ambassador Jacki Gunn in 2025 Culture Days.
What a delight to be chosen to be a part of a professional mentorship to celebrate Culture Days, BC Ambassador Program.
This opportunity to mentor came at the exact right moment as I have been very focused on Coaching & Mental Wellness support for those in Theatre, Film/TV. I first met Jacki in 2005 when I was a substitute Acting Instructor for Spotlight Academy (a small Acting studio) here on Vancouver Island. She made such a unique impression on me, at the time.
Her focus, tenacity and approach to her acting choices inspired me. In some ways, she reminded me of myself as a young actor.
Fast forward to 2025 and I have been following her journey as she has grown to be a very skilled improvisor, actor, writer and storyteller.
What a gift to be able to circle back and support the next part of her creative steps & journey using my own professional experience, Writing Services & Creative Care.
